It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert L. Hoyer Sr. of Benton, Wisconsin, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hoyer and Dolly Hoyer (Stoddard); his spouse Jean Hocking; his daughter Rita McKelvey; his granddaughter Sarah McKelvey; his siblings, Vera Wullweber (Dwayne), Gene Hoyer, Stanley Hoyer (Dorothy), John Hoyer, Daniel Hoyer and Carl Hoyer (Gretta); and his brother-in-law Louis Reitz.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Hoyer, Jr. of Racine, WI, Paul Hoyer (Karen) of Eagen, MN, Donna Harper (Kenneth) of Cuba City, Richard Hoyer (Sandra) of Cuba City and Rhonda McCarthy (Arnie) of Cuba City; his sister Louise Reitz of Galena, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Marian Hoyer and Norma Hoyer. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
