He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Brandt and Alinda Brandt (Busch); his former wife Lydia Brandt (Sanders); and his daughters, Barbara Jane Brandt, Sherry Averkamp and Janice Brandt.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Brandt; his children, Susanne Van Vors of Berlin, WI, Ken Van Vors of Janesville, WI, Dale Brandt (Kimberly Pahnke) of Shullsburg, WI, Johnny Brandt of Cuba City, WI and Laura Brandt (Dana Moss-Peterson) of Bettendorf, IA; his son-in-law Tony Averkamp; and his siblings, Rosemary Wedige (Keith), Frankie Brandt (Jane) of Cuba City, WI, Chris Brandt (Phyllis) of McFarland, WI and Bernard Brandt (Jane Alice) of Cuba City, WI.
