She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Bartell and Dorothy Bartell (DuBord); her husband James Harwick Sr.; and her son Ricky L. Harwick. She is survived by: her children, James Jr. (Julie) of Benton, Brian (Abby) of Shullsburg, WI, Mark (Kay) of Plum City, WI and Heidi Lynn; and her sisters-in-law, Geraldine McCauley (Bill) of Cuba City, WI and Dorothy Curran (Gary) of Shullsburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
