He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; his parents, Abner Rock and Florence Rock (Alderson); his parent-in-law Lavern Solem; his sister Betty Thompson (Rock); his nephew Jerry Thompson; and also Julia Solem (Johnson).
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Ponder (Paul) of Orange Beach, AL; his grandchildren, Travis Ponder (Robyn) and Kinsey; his great grandchildren, Lydia McInerney, Lucy McInerney, Dylan Ponder and Ethan Ponder; his sister Dolores Hutchinson of Platteville; his nephew Joe Thompson (Julie); and his niece Carolyn Ensch (Harold).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Shawnee Cemetery Association, 2311 Shawnee Road, Shullsburg, WI 53586.
