“For the short time I got to know Brooks I can say that he was a man of genuine character and that he would have been an excellent teacher. He was always welcoming to anyone and loved to laugh and talk. I really never saw him in a bad mood he was always focused and excited about life. I look up to him in many ways and I hope I can be as driven and happy as he was. He was a great role model and I hope that we can honor him by living our lives to the fullest as he would have. He will be missed.”

“I did not get to know Brooks as much as other people did but I can say that I enjoyed every single time I talked to him. He was somebody I admired and looked up to, He always had a positive attitude and was always willing to help. He really illuminated the area with his presence around people and I am not being cliche. He was a genuine really good person. I hate the fact that I wont get to see him again. He was and is one of the strongest men of good character I knew, no one should forget that.”
