He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ball and Ruby Garrett. He is survived by: his son Clyde Garrett; and his siblings, Max Garrett (Brenda), Melody Casey (Anthony), Crystal Steward (Charles), Rosemary Fowler (Babatunde), Judy Ball and Chester Ball III (Lillie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
