With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgil Elson of Beloit, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John King and Minnie Elson (Senn); his sons, David Elson and Steven Elson; and his brother John Elson.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Bero; his children, Michael Elson (Graciela) and Amy Elson; his stepdaughter Jodi Gile (Thomas VanMatre); his grandchildren, Robert, Ashley and Michelle; his siblings, Shirley Neal and Murel Elson; his niece Suzanne Mullis (Randy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Randi Warren (Sean), Donald and Andrew Mullis; and his pet Diana.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the First Baptist Church, Beloit, WI.
