He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Phillips and Dorothy Phillips (Stietz); his brother Randy; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Thomas and Barbara Phillips.
He is survived by: his siblings, Penny Thomas and Scotty Phillips; his sister-in-law Sandy Phillips; and his children, Brian and Laura Dobbs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and great nephews; three maternal aunts; many cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital.
