He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Loomis and Marion Loomis (Dauer); his wife Linda Petitt; and his brother Gary Loomis. He is survived by: his sons, Matt Loomis and Christopher Loomis (Jennafer Gozdowiak); and his siblings, Carl Loomis (Jane), Linda Zamecnik, Tom Loomis (Melody), Roger Loomis (Lemma) and Judy Dorris (Bob). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
