He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert King and Harriet King (Thompson); his wife Ellen Lancaster; his son Ricky J. King; his sister Carol Raiten; his siblings-in-law, Joanne Lancaster, Mel Raiten and Don Grulke; and his nephew Randy Raiten.

He is survived by: his daughter Vicky McClurg of Beloit, WI; his granddaughter Christiana McClurg of Madison, WI; his sister Barb Gregg (Russell) of Naples, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Lancaster of Loves Park, IL, Lloyd Lancaster (Kay) of Marshfield, WI and Patricia Grulke of Tucker, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
