Lois E. Roen Obituary
We bid farewell to Lois E. Roen of Beloit, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Lois touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Roen; her grandson Steven Dhom; her siblings, Orville Sowatzki (Mary), Ernie Sowazki (Sally), John Sowatzki (Iris) and Joyce Litza (Larry); and her brother-in-law Ben "Bud" Reimer (Arlene).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Dhom (James) of South Beloit, IL, Gary Schenck (Janet) of Beloit, WI, Randy Schenck of Hobart, WI and Rhonda Roen (Kirby) of Pardeeville, WI; her grandchildren, Jody Valk (Dan Heldt) of Beloit, WI, Amy Dhom of Janesville, WI, Joshua Schenck of East Troy, WI, Aaron Schenck (Beth) of Minneapolis, MN, Justin Schenck (Kerstyn) of Madison, WI, Stephanie Schenck of Roscoe, IL, Natasha Jacobson (Randy) of Beloit, WI, Caitlin Payne (Thad) of Lena, WI, Kristi Roen (Carolyn Marty) of Austin, TX and Marc Roen (Andrea) of LaCrosse, WI; her great grandchildren, Olivia Valk (Kevin Smith), Jillian Valk, Mason Schenck, Aiden, Ethan, Oliver Schenck, Ashley Pasquale, Megan Haack (Chris), Sarah Fay, Josephine, Trenton Jung, Carston, Natalie Jacobson, Callan, Miles, Charlotte Payne, Marc Roen, Justin Schenck and April; and her great great grandchildren, Kilani Gwen Price, Kevin Smith III and Hudson Haack. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (749 Bluff St, Beloit, WI 53511).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Stateline Works of Mercy Homeless Mission, 655 Bluff St., Beloit, WI 53511.
