It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanine R. Steuck-Schmidt of Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Cole and Sophia Cole (Liston); her husband Karl Schmidt; and her siblings, Marcia and Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Steuck (Sherry) of Milton, WI, Judith McCleary (Nick) of Roscoe, IL and Janet Taylor (James) of Waukeee, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Steuck (Betsy) of Janesville, WI, Evan McCleary of Rapid River, MI, Alison Scharber (James) of Eden Prairie, MN, Caroline Duefler (Keegan) of Champaign, IL, Aaron McCann (Mariel) of Des Moines, IA and Joshua Taylor (Kelsey) of Waukee, IA; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Carter, Harper, Adeline, Eleanor, Charles, Andrew, Stone, Thomas, Ivy and Julius.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (749 Bluff St, Beloit, WI 53511). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (749 Bluff St, Beloit, WI 53511).
