He was predeceased by : his parents, Hallie Widner and Martha Widner; and his siblings, Hallie, Darla, Robert, Butch, Pat and Shirley.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley; his children, Colleen Thomson (Scott) and David Widner (Laura); his grandchildren, Bridgitte, Ashley, Josh (Paige Hauser), Kelsey and Hailey; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Jaxson; and his sister Joann Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Directors (1800 E Racine St, Janesville, WI 53547). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
