He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Cecil Shipler; his spouse Jolynn Manley; his children, Billy Shipler (Melissa), Gary Shipler (Carol), Roger Smith, Frank Smith, Lisa Smith Karr (Matt), Melissa Herman Cockerham (Lee) and Heidi Herman Gonzales (Mike); his mother Barbara Tuttle; and his siblings, Roy Shipler (Diane), Steve Shipler (Velma), Cheri Hickman (Murray) and Sally Isely (Eldon). He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
