He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Keteria Farr (Hatchett); his father-in-law Winston Moore; his brothers, Tommy Farr and Eddie Farr; and his grandson Christopher Farr.
He is survived by: his wife Vernetta Farr; his children, Blake Farr, Bryanth Farr, Brandon Housley, Rocshelle Warner, Brittany Housley and Franita Farr; his grandchildren, Minnie, Aaliyah, Zyreese, Azaria, Royal, Marquetis "Man-Man", Keiara, Keion and Tay-Tay; his great grandchild Prince; his siblings, James Hobson (Maggie), Dessie Bogan (Terrice), Brenda Gates (KC), Ricky Farr (Brenda) and Rita Farr; his mother-in-law Mary L. Moore; his sister-in-law Valerie Moore; his aunt Oberia Lipsey; and his cousin James Hatchett. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews whom he was their backbone, cousins.
During Covid, and all-weather conditions Elton kept worship services, bible study, and Sunday School open.
