She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Swope and Beverly Swope (Nicks); her siblings, Judy Swope, Patty Baggs, Cara Johnson and Jeff Swope; and her niece Katie James.
She is survived by: her daughters, Emily Britt (Michael) and Samantha Speaker; her boyfriend Dick Hansen; her sister Pam James (Dan); and her close friend Terry Sorby (Mary). She is also survived by other relatives and friends; numerous coworkers.
