He was predeceased by: his mother Bytha Wilson (Smith); his sons, Curtis Roe Wilson Jr. and Larry Steen; his siblings, Vernal Lovett, Geneva Mc Grew and Billy Joe; and his sister-in-law Virginia Wilson.
He is survived by: his father Bill Wilson; his wife Olivia Wilson; his daughters, Cindy McKillips (Allen), Carla Anderson (Harry), Lori Cross (Justin) and Linda Dunman; and his brother James Wilson (Margaret). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
