She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Houtakker and Delores Houtakker (Folmer); and her son Timothy Edward. She is survived by: her children, Tom Heiring, Charlotte Tracy (Ed), Julie Havens, Ann James (Michael) and Mary Simmons (Dean); her sister Joyce Kliebenstein (Jim); her siblings-in-law, Reta Houtakker and Mark Lowery; and her husband Ed Heiring of Peter's Catholic Church. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; 15 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to a local food pantry in Lois's memory. A memorial fund has also been established in Lois's name.
