He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kamps and Ella Kamps (Speth); and his siblings, Karen Prem (Joe), Beverly Hilgert (Chuck), Harold, LaVerne (Mary Lou) and William Kamps.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donovan (Barbara), Marjorie Dorn (Fred), Janis Selger (Don), Tom (Jody) and Norma Jean Hanson (Don); his sisters-in-law, Jane Kamps (Harold) and Connie Kamps (William); and his uncle Smokey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
