She was predeceased by: her son Wayne; her grandsons, Brian and Josh Mester; her parents, Cecil Clayton and Cora Clayton; her parents-in-law, Bill and Helen Mester; her siblings, Gola Finkelmeyer, Cecil, Gordon and Donald Clayton; and her siblings-in-law, Arlene Ingersoll, Pat Clayton and Gordon Ingersoll.
She is survived by: her husband Hubert Mester; her children, Becky Donahoe (Mike), Terry (Deb) of Mineral Point and Bill (Chris) of Mineral Point; her brother Roger Clayton; her sisters-in-law, Pauline of Platteville and Jackie Clayton of Platteville; and her cousin Judy Amenda (Larry). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Joyce E. Mester memorial fund to support the community of Belmont.
