She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Bartels and Geraldine Bartels (Wiest); and her nieces, Jordyn Bartels and Jamie Brant. She is survived by: her siblings, Terry Bartels, Melanie Herbstreith, Marsha Brant (Al) and Tom Bartels (Katie); and her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Brandon, Jeremy, Jadyn Bartels, Reilly Rueschel, Katie, Nicholas, Alex Brant (Nicole), Michael (Lisa) and Matt Herbstreith (Bethany). She is also survived by two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
