He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hillebrand and Virginia Hillebrand (Gini); his sister Karen; his in-laws, Harold (Bud) and Nathalie Bergum; his mother-in-law Dorothy Bergum; his uncles, Harold and Dennis Norslien; and his aunt Linda Watkins.
He is survived by: his son Roger; his wife Barbara Hillebrand (Bergum); his children, Jonathan Hillebrand (Kari), Leah Hauser (Nic) and Nicole Brauer (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Mia Hillebrand, Avery Hauser, Ethan Hillebrand, Zander Hauser, Ashton Hillebrand, Stella Hauser, Ella Hillebrand and Charlotte Brauer; and his close friend Michael Schuchardt. He is also survived by his many siblings and in-laws, his Police family.
