He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Schmid (Goodman); his nephew Scott Johnson, Jr.; and his granddaughter Hailey. He is survived by: his father Ronald Schmid; his wife Alicia Ingalls; his children, Tahera Stern (Tristan Hanson), Devin Blay-Stahl (Zachary) and Jon Ruf (Kailey Wyman); his grandchildren, Ayden and Bennex; and his sisters, Cheryl Arn and Pamela Brunner (Bill). He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
