He was predeceased by: his sisters, Gertrude Busser and Ona Riggin; and his son-in-law Rick Feller. He is survived by: his pet Boss; his wife Rosemary Linden; his children, Andy Ziehli (Joyce), Becki Feller, Dan Ziehli (Diane) and Heidi McSherry (Todd); and his grandchildren, Jacob Ziehli, Peter Ziehli, Savannah Hayes (Adam), Shelbe Retallick (Dan) and Lexi McSherry. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Belleville Food Pantry.
