He is survived by: his wife Nancy Aavang; his sons, Randy Statz (Mary), Jesse Statz and Corey Statz; his grandchildren, Carla Statz, Melinda Bigler (Cody), Jamie Statz and David Statz; his sisters, Judy Loy (Phil), Jennifer Curtain (Dan) and Joni Crave (Chuck); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Statz and Duane Aavang. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
