He was predeceased by: his mother Gloria Rufener (Norder). He is survived by: his father Arnold Rufener; his wife Kathy; his children, Jenny Sies (Nick), Mary Hartlich and Kevin Rufener (Anjali Pattanayak); his grandchildren, Haley, Bekah, Kat, Mia, Charlotte, Austin, Tori, Caroline and Jacob; and his siblings, Judy Baumgartner (John), Tom Rufener (Judy), Penny Magnuson (Tom) and Bob. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
