He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Pfund and Albert Pfund; his wife Kathleen Fahey; his sister Nellie; and his stepgranddaughter Tanya Arndt.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Arndt (Roger), Ellen Spangler, John Pfund (Sue) and Phil Pfund (Marilyn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to: New Glarus Home Activities Fund, Heartland Hospice or New Glarus Fire Department.
