It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald V. Jansen of Belleville, Wisconsin, born in Muscoda, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Jansen and Helen Jansen (Ross); and his siblings, Rosella Nihles, Dorothy Osborne, Joan Popp, Helen Smith, Donald, Mike and William Jansen.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Housholder; his daughter Wendy Bergeland (Reid); his granddaughters, Taylor and Katie Bergeland; and his siblings, Bernard Jansen (Bernadine), Joseph Jansen (Luann), Teresa Spencer, Patricia Weeden and Mary Everson. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.

A memorial fund has been established.
