He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict M. Hofmeister and Marie K. Hofmeister; his sister Patricia; and his pet Molly. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Hofmeister (Lynch); his children, Ben Hofmeister (Kelly), Rob Hofmeister, Tom Hofmeister and Sue Van Ekeren (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Jacob, John, Gwen, Claire Hofmeister, Carter, Logan, Jack and Tyler Van Ekeren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters and a great group of friends.
