He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kirchner and Velma Kirchner (Johnson); his children, Mary Hines and Ron Kirchner; his grandson Carson; and his siblings, Ralph Kirchner (Norma), Dorothy Altoff (John), Clarence Kirchner (Delores), Gene Kirchner (Ellen) and Norm Kirchner.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Mae Thurber; his children, Greg Kirchner (Barb), Doug Kirchner (JoAnn), Pat Pace (Mike McGarvey), Mike Kirchner (Steph), Jim Kirchner (Debra), Tom Kirchner (Jody), Carolyn Kirchner and Cheryl Engnes (Mark); his siblings, Ed Kirchner (Bev), Carol Pechacek (Dennis) and Dan Kirchner; and his sister-in-law Judy Kirchner. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren.
