He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold F. Hermann and Ardis M. Hermann (Roeseler); his brother Norman; and his nephews, Justin Jenkins and Colter Farrell.

He is survived by: his siblings, Victoria Heitmann (Kurt) of Randolph, Nancy Huebner (Dave) of Columbus, Karla Hupf (Dan) of Beaver Dam, JoAnn Price of Janesville and Edward Hermann.
