He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Matheus and Anne N. Matheus (Feggestad); his siblings, Donald, Joan Simek and William Matheus; his son Robert Matheus Jr.; and also, William, Lorraine Ehlers and Vivian Fabian.
He is survived by: his wife Venita Tuel; his children, Leah Ingram (Brad) of Oconomowoc, Terri Moser St (Mark) and Tony Tuel Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Bryce Kutcher, Kendall Kutcher and Grant Moser; and his sisters-in-law, Evie Matheus of West Bend, Phyllis Morse (Dave) of Greenwood, MS and Polly Schmidt (Joy) of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church Restoration Fund.
