As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ricky may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrence Apel and Donna Apel (Richter). He is survived by: his wife Sandy Apel of Beaver Dam; his sons, Brian Apel (Cassie) of Beaver Dam, Steve Apel of Menasha and Kelvin Apel of Beaver Dam; his granddaughter Laylah; his siblings, Debbie Pelot of Beaver Dam, Todd Apel (Jodi) of Beaver Dam, Randy Apel of White Lake, Bonnie Oestreicher (Timothy) of Waupun and Terry Apel of Portage; and his niece Vanessa "Sess" Brown of Waupun. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home (N7199 N Crystal Lake Rd, Beaver Dam, WI 53916).
