It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Wedel of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, born in Columbus, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wedel and Margaret Wedel (O'Connor); his wife Rosemary Ann Hepp of Mary's Catholic Church; his son David Wedel; his brother Joseph Wedel; and his brother-in-law Duane "Jim" Klatt.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Wedel (Patrice) of Beaver Dam, Christine Fischer (Charles) of Constantine, MI and John Wedel (Christine) of Baraboo; his sisters, Mary Klatt of Beaver Dam and Jeanette Olson (Dennis) of Washington, DC; and his sister-in-law Carol Wedel of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, and one on the way; six step grandchildren.
