He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Simon and Margaret Simon (Zangl); his former wife Mary Simon Schaefer; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Krueger, Dan Schraufnagel and Linda Schraufnagel.
He is survived by: his children, Trish Braun (Dave) of Jefferson, Mark Simon (Kelly) of Beaver Dam, Tim Simon of Middleton and Pam Hinkle (R. J.) of Coppell, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew Braun (Jackie), Melissa Braun, Teresa Stofflet (Jared), Nathan, Eric, Brendan Simon, Austin and Katy Hinkle; his great grandchildren, Liam, Lily Braun, Delilah and Cecilia Stofflet; his sisters, Kathleen Krueger of Fond du Lac and Rose Hansen (John) of Fond du Lac; and his siblings-in-law, George, Tom Schraufnagel (Karen) and Mary Schraufnagel. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
