Esther E. Gertsch Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther E. Gertsch of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Lauersdorf and Edna Lauersdorf (Heintz); her husbands, Paul Gertsch, Harry Lieske and Joe; and her siblings, Edwin, Albert Lauersdorf and Ruth Fredrick.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Gertsch (Karen) of Beaver Dam, Leland Gertsch of Juneau, Linda Polakowski (Curt) of Hartford and Karla Tentler (Joseph) of Minnesota; and her sisters, Bernice Planasch of Horicon and Lillian Steger of Cedarburg. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church-Beaver Dam (1310 N Center St, Beaver Dam, WI 53916). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
