David Slager Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Slager (Beaver Dam, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Slager and Frieda Slager (Kuiper); his grandparents, Richard, Jennie Slager (Medema), Fred and Emma Kuiper (Kikkert); his brother Dewey Slager; his sister-in-law Dorothy Slager; and his nephew Ben Kooiman.

He is survived by: his wife Carrie Steen of Waupun; his stepchildren, Jayme Roll (Jessica), Jeremy Roll (Jody) and Jennilyn Chaplin (Lamarr); his grandchildren, Harper, Emme Roll, Ayden, Alexis, Austin, Wyatt Yerges, Kytalin, Levi Roll, Charles, Elijah and Ellamae Chaplin; his siblings, Don Slager (Marty) of Beaver Dam, Dick Slager (Sherri) of Beaver Dam, Evonne Kooiman (Dave) of Waupun and Daniel Slager of Waupun; his sister-in-law Deb Slager of Beaver Dam; his uncle Denis; and his aunts, Nancy Hampton, Donna Koppa and Betty Kuiper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edgewood Community Church (1209 West Circle Drive, Beaver 55901). A reception will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
