He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bessette and Mary Bessette (Neely); his siblings-in-law, Rick Stilen, Bev Zempel (Scott), Ken Stilen (Mary), Dave Stilen (Mary) and Michael Lorge; his mothers-in-law, Christine Stilen and Diane Stilen; his siblings-in-law, Donna Lorge, Donald Stilen, Jeff Stilen and Jill Stilen; his niece Dawn Barches; and his nephew A. J. Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Stilen; his children, Nikki Ziebell (Matthew), Tyler Bessette and Abby Bowens (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Logan, Parker, Fischer Bessette, Ashton, Sawyer Ziebell and Gavin Welch; his siblings, Tony Bessette (Dana), Crissy Wenzel (Jeff Hoffmann), Kelly Bessette and Lynn Peters (Matt); his father-in-law George Stilen, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Moldenhauer (Greg), Betty Miller (Tim) and Cindy Nassen (John).
