He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavern Shadduck and Lucille Shadduck; his stepmother Clara Shadduck; his siblings, Theresa, Tom and Dan; and his stepchildren, Clarence Samson Jr., Barbara Ritchie and Tavis Bessette.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joe Shadduck, Jerry Shadduck (Ratree), Judy Chipman, Jackie Boushley (Larry), Ginger Kriewaldt (Dale), Mae Schweitzer (Wayne) and Rosena Wilson (Steve); and his stepchildren, Virginia Schweitzer, Connie Gabrielson (Gordon), Charles Bessette (Tina), David Bessette (Rebecca), Menessa Pues (Thomas) and Jimmy Bessette (Rachel). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
