We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2024, at the age of 71, Sheryl Komanekin (Bayfield, Wisconsin), born in Ely, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex "Ike" Gokee and Victoria "Toddy" LaFernier; her grandson Makiiy Diver; and her siblings, Mark Gokee, Andrew Gokee, Eugene Gokee, John Gokee Sr., Francis Gauthier, Bill Gauthier, Elizabeth "Liz" Gokee and Linda Gokee.
She is survived by: her daughter Beneshii "Nashie" Bigboy; her grandson Francis Deragon; and her siblings, Michael Gokee, Anne Sullivan (Donald), Dee Gokee-Rindal, Darla Montano and Brigette Shaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
