With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lori Ann McAvaney (Bayfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her aunt Connie "Cookie" LaGrew; her close friend John Basina; and her friend Tony Rippel. She is survived by: her mother Alice Deragon (Chelberg); her daughters, Roxanne Fehr (Pete Ollhoff) and Dawn McAvaney (Mitchell Lehr); her grandchildren, Addison Bierman, Alyna McAvaney and Connor Duffy; her father Lawrence "Larry" Sr. Deragon; her siblings, Karen DePerry (Richard), Lawrence and Ernie Grooms (Pauline); her close friends, Lynn, Annie and Colene; and her former husband Hugh McAvaney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Red Cliff Elderly Center (37645 New Housing Rd, Bayfield, WI 54814). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
