He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Elbridge Wright Telford and Helen Wilhelmina Telford; his wife Elizabeth "Libby"; his sister Harriet "Happy" Echeveria; his son-in-law Jeff McCay; his stepson Ben Morgan; his brother-in-law Donald Metzger; and his niece Kathleen Cameron.
He is survived by: his children, Lizabeth Ann Taylor (Scott) of Venice, FL and David Elbridge Telford of Anchorage, AK; his sister Annette Metzger of Pana, IL; his grandchildren, Brendan McCay (Ashley) of Santa Barbara, CA, Erin McCay (Sharon), Julie McCay, Paris, France and Megan Martinez (Matthew) of Seattle, WA; and his stepchildren, Phoebe (Robert) and Barnaby Morgan (Beth) of Hayward, WI. He is also survived by three nephews and one neice; five great-grandchildren.
