He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Hansen Jr. and Catherine Jane Hansen; his wife Betty Jean Hansen (Steinhorst); and his sister Margaret Kisch (Peter). He is survived by: his close friend Cathee Denn; his son George (Marit); his grandchildren, Magnus George and Talla Jane Hansen; and his siblings, James Hansen (Carmen), Mary Ness (Paul), Monica Dilley (Michael) and Marcy Boettcher (Randy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
