It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Peter Olson Jr. of Barron, Wisconsin, born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ellen Olson Sr. (Peg) of Barron; his daughter Lyndsey Olson; his parent Russell Olson Sr.; his brothers, E. Bryan and David Olson; and his father-in-law Richard "Dick" Bresina.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn of Barron; his daughter Elizabeth Roske (Nathaniel) of Hillsdale; his grandson Emmett Roske of Hillsdale; his brother Pete Olson (Heidi Hong) of Barron; his sister-in-law Anne Marie Olson of Fredonia; his mother-in-law Odetta (Bresina) of Barron; and his siblings-in-law, Chipper Bresina (Maria) of Chippewa, Tim Bresina (Gerri) of Chippewa, Ricky Bresina (Marsha) of Cadott, Nancy Simenson (Kim) of Cadott and Lucy Lawler (Jack) of Chippewa. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
