He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa "Weezer" Balk; and his parents, Pete Balk and Marjorie Balk. He is survived by: his close friend Cindy Rosenbaum; his daughter Angela Johnson (Aaron); his grandchildren, Ema Algeo (Bolton), Logan Johnson and Corban Johnson; his great grandchildren, Ava and Oliver Algeo; and his sisters, Terri Pratt (Danny), Sheila Frey (Ed) and Betty Jean Balk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
