He is survived by: his former wife Donna Rice; his spouse Neomi Gilbertson; his children, Bruce Thunberg of Rice Lake, Shirley Pung of Grand Forks, ND and Cindy Murray of Grand Forks, ND; and his sister Marian Russell of Lakewood, CA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
