He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Nelson and Jerry Nelson (Sorenson). He is survived by: his wife Silvia Leal of Barron; his siblings, Roxane Ogilvie (Jacques), Penny Holm (Jack), Pam Hicks (Don) and Darrel Nelson of Luck, Wisconsin; and his stepchildren, Lili Perold (Chris) of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Alex De La Garza and Adrian De La Garza. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and step grandchildren.
