As Connie Kay departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Connie Kay may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Connie Kay leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Anderson and Mathilda Anderson (Amundson); and her sisters, Nancy Eserhutt and LeeAnn Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Steen (Roxanne) of New Richmond, Vince Steen of Barron, Andrea Severson (Vern) of Turtle Lake, Sandra Ekenstedt (Donald) of Barron and Alison Werner (Ken) of Woodville; and her brothers, Nels Anderson of Hudson and Kirk Anderson (Kate) of Stillwater, Minnesota. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rausch & Steel Funeral Home (19 S 3rd St, Barron, WI 54812).
