He is survived by: his mother Lillian Gates (Christianson) of North Freedom; his wife Kim of Barron; his son Chris (Paula) of Chetek; his grandchildren, Annabelle and Lux; and his siblings, Charlene Custer, Donna Elmer and Rusty (Brenda) of Baraboo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
