He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nelson and Alice Nelson (Norton); his brothers, Bill, Sam and Fred; and his brother-in-law Bob Anderson.
He is survived by: his former wife Ardith Penshorn; his wife Ardy; his sons, Clay (Rachel) and Jimmy (Dawn); his grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Matt, Tyler and Kim; his sisters, Gloria Anderson and Mary Stahl (Jerry); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Nelson and Pat Penshorn.
In lieu of the flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Jim to be designated at a later date.
